• We would like to meet with you first?
I always prefer to meet with couples prior to you securing your date. It is so important that you feel comfortable and gel with your photographer! They will be by your side and interacting with you, for up to 6+ hours on one of the most important days of your life. I love meeting couples beforehand and I have a meeting space at 66 Clarence Street Sydney CBD and live in the Sutherland Shire, so I can meet around either location. If you'd prefer to meet at a local cafe or bar that's fine too. I am also happy to chat via Facetime or phone call.
• Will you travel to photograph our wedding?
Of course! I have photographed all around NSW and would love to photograph a wedding overseas soon! Just get in touch and let me know your destination. I'll provide a customised quote for you. Weddings within 90 minutes of Sydney do not incur any travel fees.
• How can we secure you for our wedding date?
After receiving my pricing guide and after our meeting, let me know if you'd like to go ahead and I will send through a quote from my booking system. A $500 deposit secures your date, the balance is then due two weeks prior to your wedding along with a signed contract.
• Will you be the one photographing our day?
Yes! I will be there to photograph your wedding day. I have second photographers available to assist if you'd like a second pair of eyes, but I am the primary shooter on all my weddings. I limit my weddings to 25 per year to ensure my couples are given the most optimal service possible!
• Will you help us with timings?
Yes! This is one thing that I love working with my couples to ensure the best photography of their day! I always recommend your portraits happen in the last few hours of daylight to ensure the lighting is absolutely beautiful and soft (rather than that harsh midday sun which creates some pretty interesting shadows across faces). I will make sure you have the right timeline so your prep photos are calm and stress free, and ensuring you have all the coverage you'll need for reception formalities.
• How long should we leave for portraits between the ceremony and reception?
I usually recommend about half hour for family photos, and then an hour for portraits. If you'd like to photograph at two locations allow half an hour at each location. This will also depend on you as a couple - there are some that like minimal photos and 15 minutes of portraits is more than enough. Then there are those couples that would like plenty of variety in their photos so leave 90 minutes for their portraits.
• Do you have back-ups of the photos?
Yes! I use Canon 5D cameras that have a dual card slot, the same day of your wedding, your photos are backed up straight away onto 2 hard drives and on the "cloud" ready for editing. I keep all photos for up to 12 months following your wedding so once you have your images I reccomend backing them up on your end too.
