Alex & Maffy | Imperial Clifton and seaside proposal
I waited in the wind, seated patiently, watching closely, by the seaside at Scarborough.
I was dressed in disguise, camera hidden under my big blue jacket, I looked like a fisherman.
Their car appeared! I was ready.
Keeping my eye on them, Alex held Maffy’s hand and led her to the sand, I followed close behind, but not too close.
The ring in his hand, ready for the moment, he got down on one knee. Her face said it all, the most beautiful and wonderful surprise that she was not expecting. I inched closer to capture them both (without looking like a crazy paparazzi!) The wind was strong and it had started to sprinkle with rain, what a special morning this was capturing this surprise proposal, followed by their surprise engagement party at The Imperial Clifton, see a few highlights from their story below.
